By using our services, scheduling consultations, or engaging Lights Over North Georgia for lighting installation, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services Provided
Lights Over North Georgia provides outdoor lighting design, installation, and maintenance services including landscape lighting, Christmas light installation, accent lighting, pathway lighting, soffit lighting, bistro lighting, and related electrical work throughout North Georgia communities.
Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on site conditions, material costs, or project modifications. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for unforeseen circumstances discovered during installation.
Payment Terms
- Deposits may be required to schedule installation
- Final payment is due upon project completion unless other arrangements are made
- Late payments may incur additional fees
- Returned checks will incur a service fee
Installation and Project Timeline
Project timelines are estimates and may vary due to weather, site conditions, material availability, or other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize disruption to your schedule.
Property Access and Preparation
You agree to provide reasonable access to your property for consultation, installation, and maintenance. You are responsible for marking underground utilities, removing obstacles, and securing pets during service visits.
Warranties and Guarantees
We provide a one-year warranty on installation workmanship and will honor manufacturer warranties on fixtures and components. Warranties do not cover damage from severe weather, vandalism, or normal wear and tear.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services.
Property Damage
While we take precautions to protect your property, you acknowledge that installation work carries inherent risks. We carry appropriate insurance and will address any damage caused by our negligence.
Cancellation Policy
- Consultations may be rescheduled with 24-hour notice
- Installation cancellations may result in material restocking fees
- Christmas light removal must be scheduled within reasonable timeframes
Safety and Compliance
All work will be performed in accordance with local electrical codes and safety standards. You are responsible for obtaining any required permits, though we can assist with permit applications.
Intellectual Property
Our lighting designs, installation methods, and business processes are proprietary. You may not reproduce or distribute our designs without written permission.
Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your property and needs
- Maintain installed systems according to our recommendations
- Notify us promptly of any issues or needed repairs
- Allow reasonable access for warranty and maintenance work
Seasonal Services
Christmas light installation includes seasonal maintenance and removal. Removal dates will be scheduled based on weather and our service calendar. Extended delays in removal may result in additional fees.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or inability to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, or government regulations.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in the state of Georgia. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits related to our services.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia without regard to conflict of law principles.
